Landmark Theatres announced today that the West End Cinema will re-open on Friday, April 1st after undergoing extensive upgrades which add a number of modern, state-of-the-art amenities to the company’s fourth Washington, DC-area property.

Each of the three auditoriums has been remodeled and outfitted with oversized, plush leather seating and riser platforms, designed to provide maximum comfort to patrons. Additional enhancements include larger screens, new aisle lighting and wall to wall carpeting on auditorium floors.

The West End Cinema will additionally showcase a revamped concessions menu, including rotating wine and beer selections, which patrons are welcome to bring into any auditorium.

“With the West End Cinema’s renovation and re-opening, we will continue offering film lovers in the nation’s Capital a new avenue for an upscale movie-going experience. We are excited to turn this neighborhood theatre into a true gem,” said Landmark President Ted Mundorff.

The West End Cinema is located at 2301 M Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037, three blocks north of the Foggy Bottom Metro Station.
