Future and Jhené Aiko to Headline Broccoli City Festival 2016

Pop Culture and Environmental Change Intersect Once More to Build Thriving Urban Communities

Broccoli City announced today that the 4th annual Broccoli City Festival is returning to Gateway DC on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Along with superstar headliners Future and Jhené Aiko, the explosive roster of talent also includes The Internet, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, BJ the Chicago KidSángo of the Soulection collective, and more.

General admission (Broccoli Bite tickets) and VIP pass options (Broccoli City Influencer and Lifestyle passes) go on sale at 10 AM this Friday through BCFestival.com with prices starting at $59. A limited number of free tickets (Power of One priority passes) are also available to those who participate in our Power of One campaign to earn their admission. Participants will sign up for volunteer opportunities to showcase the difference that one person can make to a community.

Festival attendees can expect to enjoy a unique selection of interactive activations such as a full-service organic juice bar, a pop-up market featuring eco-friendly vendors, fully stocked bars, a live art installation led by No Kings DC, acupuncture and massages, and a restaurant park offering the city's best cuisines. New features include a redesigned venue that will offer an enhanced festival experience.

“Since we launched on Earth Day in 2013, BC Fest has showcased the most groundbreaking artists artists in music and empowered over 20 thousand millennials to take action and become change agents in their community,” said Broccoli City co-founder, Brandon McEachern. “Music is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together, so we’re confident this lineup does just that and look forward to delivering another impactful event.”
