City Tap House DC, a modern Washington gastropub, has a full month of specials and events planned for guests during February. Highlights are included below.
Super Bowl - Sunday, February 7
City Tap House is the place to be during the big game, featuring an optional $25 bottomless football snack buffet with favorites like mozzarella sticks, wings, and nachos. Guests that opt into the buffet can also choose any beer from City Tap House’s 40 taps to enjoy for $4 from whistle to whistle. Specialty taps will be pouring New Belgium Brewing and Oskar Blues Brewery drafts: both breweries are based in Colorado and also produce in North Carolina.
Mardi Gras - Tuesday, February 9
Celebrate Fat Tuesday with soulful Cajun dishes like barbecue shrimp and grits and fresh-fried beignets, Hurricanes, and festive beads. Late night Happy Hour specials will be offered from 10 PM to 12 AM for those that want to keep the party going.
Valentine’s Day - Sunday, February 14
For anyone seeking alternative Valentine’s options, City Tap House is holding a “Black as Your Heart” prix fixe beer dinner. Guests are served three courses for $45, with the option to pair porters and stouts with the meal for $15. A porter and stout tap takeover at the bar also means guests can enjoy a variety of dark brews independent of the prix fixe dinner. The regular dinner menu is also available.
