Proprietor Tony Brown of Macon Bistro & Larder, located at 5520 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20015 is pleased to announce that his award-winning neighborhood restaurant is introducing dinner service on Monday evenings by popular demand, and local schools will benefit for the month of December. Monday night dinner will commence on December 7th and Chevy Chase Elementary will receive 10% of all the proceeds earned that evening at Macon Larder & Bistro. Then on December 14th, Lafayette Elementary will be the recipient and more local schools are anticipated to accept for the remainder of the month for the fundraising effort.
“December is the season of merriment, sharing and of gift giving so we are pleased to be able to contribute and participate in this festive time of year,” say Tony Brown. “We hope to celebrate and highlight a few more of our area schools prior to the New Year as well.”
Macon Bistro & Larder is located at 5520 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20015. Beginning December 7th, the restaurant is open for dinner, Monday through Thursday, from 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday, from 5 PM to 11 PM, and Sunday, from 5 PM to 10 PM. Brunch is served on Sunday, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The Larder opens at 2 PM daily, and the bar opens at 4 PM daily.
