Spielberg's Bridge of Spies starts with a bang, but quickly fizzles into a relatively dull, overlong (135 minutes) drama, conspicuously light on action & thrills. Hanks is solid as ever, but his character (and almost everyone around him) is bland with one notable exception (Mark Rylance.) Rylance is sensational as Soviet spy Rudolf Abel, so good in fact... I wish the movie were
