SER Restaurant in Ballston to Host First Regional Culinary Week Celebrating Chefs, Ingredients & Prized Products Throughout Spain, October 6-11, 2015

Beginning on Tuesday, October 6th and running through Sunday, October 11th, SER Restaurant (1110 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22201; Phone (703) 746-9822; www.SER-Restaurant.com; @SERRestaurant) is proud to announce that they will be hosting their first ‘Regional Culinary Week’ featuring some of the most celebrated chefs, ingredients, dishes, and traditions found throughout various regions of Spain.

Owners Javier Candon and Chef Zubikarai will be teaming up with Valencia native and celebrity chef Daniel Garcia Rodriguez - a second generation rice Chef - to showcase a series of interactive and educational events sharing the best of Spain including a spotlight on popular Spain-based Levante Rice.

Chef Daniel Garcia Rodriguez was born in Valencia, Spain, and is a second generation rice Chef. Popular rice used in the majority of traditional paellas can be found between La Albufera and Canabal. Chef Rodriguez has worked in celebrated restaurants including Brosquil, and has been recognized by Arrocerias Valencianas, of which was formed by chefs like Juan Tamariz, Oscar Torrijos, Quique Dacosta, and other, recognizing chefs that have perfectly mastered traditional and modern rice techniques.
