GCDC Adds Special for Papal Visit to the White House

Pope Francis visits DC, September 22-24

From our friends at GCDC...

GDCD Adds "The Pontiff," a Special for the Papal Visit to the White House, Week of September 21st

GCDC, Washington’s first grilled cheese-centric restaurant and bar, is adding a special menu item in honor of Pope Francis’ visit to Washington, DC. Inspired by his Argentinian background, GCDC will be creating The Pontiff at GCDC: a marinated ribeye & provolone grilled cheese sandwich with a chimichurri sauce on ciabatta. This will be available during lunch hours (11 AM - 3 PM) for $10 or in the evening (4-9 PM) with a choice of a side for $14. Also available is an Argentinian Malbec Punto Final 2014 from ReNacer for $12/glass or $45/bottle.

Located only a half a block from the White House, the GCDC patio will be open for patrons hoping to catch a glimpse of the Pope!

WHEN: Monday, September 21 - Friday, September 25, 2015 11AM to 9 PM.

1730 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20006
