Ambar Hosts Five-Course Balkan Wine Dinner with Neighbor Chat's Liquors and Grapes & Barley Importers

Ambar, the nation’s capital’s first Balkan restaurant, located at 523 8th Street, SE, will host a wine dinner with Chat's Liquors, located just a few doors down at 503 8th Street, SE, and Grape & Barley Importers on Sunday, October 11th. Two seatings will be available, the first from 5-7 PM, and the second from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. At each seating, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a five-course meal prepared by Ambar's Executive Chef Ivan Zivkovic featuring modern Balkan fare from his new fall menu, while representatives from Chat's Liquors and Grape & Barley Importers will pour pairings of unique and affordable wines imported from K Cellars Thracian Valley Wines of Bulgaria. Guests will sample K Cellars Chardonnay 2014, K Cellars Cabernet/Syrah Blend 2011, K Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, K Cellars Merlot 2013 and K Cellars White Blend 2012. All the wines sampled during dinner will be available to be enjoyed at the restaurant, and can be purchased at Chat’s to be enjoyed at home.
