From our friends at the Potomac Country House Tour & Festival...

The 59th Potomac Country House Tour & Festival (PCHT&F) takes place on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Saint Francis Episcopal Church, 10033 River Road, Potomac, MD. Four exceptional homes in the Potomac, Maryland-area are featured on the House Tour, which runs from 1-4 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The homes include the Hye Land House, Villa dei Leoni, English Country Manor House, and Holiday Carriage House. All proceeds from the nonprofit (501c3) Potomac Country House Tour are distributed to help fund mostly local programs addressing homelessness, hunger, children and women’s issues, and elderly care.

Among the four homes is the Hye Land House, which includes a soaring staircase and two-story family room, beautiful artwork, ethnic items including a Lebanese living room, and a lower level with "perfume bar" and mannequins showcasing ball gowns worn for formal Washington, DC affairs. Villa dei Leoni is set on a 10-acre property in Potomac where the home underwent renovations spanning two and a half years, creating a dream home for the owners featuring a gorgeous backyard and pool house, pet room with dog shower, beautiful kitchen, Russian glass, one-of-a-kind furniture by Francesca Molon, and items from Regis Gallery in Vegas. The English Country Manor House presents a breathtaking exterior landscape, while the Holiday Carriage House is used as a guest house for children and grandchildren as well as a workshop for the owner's Custom Wreaths of Potomac boutique. Custom Wreaths is also the only offsite boutique, selling elegant arrangements of silk and dried flowers, wreaths, wall hangings, and table and mantle pieces.

Boutiques at St. Francis offer the latest in gifts, accessories, home décor, jewelry and art, while a silent auction features gift certificates, local adventures, entertainment tickets, professional services, etc. The boutiques and silent auction are open to the public on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 from 11 AM - 5 PM at St. Francis. A midday luncheon is served both days from 11:30 AM - 2 PM.

Ticket Information: $30 advance ticket sold online at www.potomaccountryhousetour.org, $40 day-of ticket sold at the St. Francis and at each home. Admission to boutiques and silent auction is free. For more information, go to www.potomaccountryhousetour.org.
