City Tap House to Host an End of Summer Tailgate Party, September 20th

City Tap House, the craft beer-focused restaurant located at 901 9th Street, NW, 20001, will host an afternoon tailgate party Sunday, September 20th. Football fans are encouraged to stop by the restaurant to watch the Washington Redskins take on the St. Louis Rams on the restaurant’s 12 flat-screen TVs, while enjoying delicious food and a game of cornhole on the expansive outdoor patio.

City Tap House’s culinary team, under the direction of Culinary Director Brian Cooke, will serve up DC Half Smokes, served sweet or hot with chili sauce, onions and red skinned potato salad; Fried Shishito Pepper Poppers with herbed cream cheese and buttermilk ranch; Buffalo Chicken Dip with three cheeses, Frank’s hot sauce and kettle chips, as well as Indian Summer Turkey Chili with corn, pickled jalapeƱos, Monterey jack cheese and sour cream. Dishes are priced $5 to $14 each. As an added bonus, beer lovers can pay just $25 to take advantage of happy hour beer specials throughout the duration of Washington Redskins football game. These include $5 select craft beers such as New Belgium Ranger IPA, Starr Hill Brewery’s The Love, Monocacy Brewing Company’s Riot Rye, Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale, and a rotating selection of Samuel Adams, $6 house wine and $7 shot & beer.
