Tosca's Executive Chef Matteo Venini Fashions New Dessert

Foie Gras + Chocolate? Si, Per Favore!

This summer, Tosca’s Executive Chef Matteo Venini has fashioned what he feels is the perfect marriage for a dessert: Foie Gras + Dark Chocolate!

He’s created a “Foie Choco Candy Bar” that’s only available as part of the eight course extravaganza for guests who dine in the kitchen at the Chef’s Table.

The Foie Choco Candy Bar imitates Venini’s favorite candy bar that he’d eat in Italy as a child - the Mars Bar. But instead of a nougat filling, Venini is whipping up a cold Foie Gras Mousse. It’s topped with Salted Caramel, tempered 70% Dark Chocolate, and Marcona Almonds.

About Tosca’s Chef’s Table:
Just inside of Ristorante Tosca’s kitchen, there’s an intimate table that seats four to eight people that are privy to “dinner and a show”! Matteo Venini’s Chef’s Table puts you directly in front of the Chef himself as he creates a custom 8-course culinary experience for you and your guests. Guests will dine on: two Appetizers, three Pastas, one Fish course, one Meat course and Dessert. But each Chef's Table is different - based on the customer's tastes, the season, and the freshest ingredients coming into our kitchen that week!

The Chef’s Table seats a minimum of four and a maximum of eight people. Price is $125.00 per person; tax, beverages and gratuity are additional. Advance reservations and signed contract are required:
