It’s that time of the year again! DC Restaurant Week Summer 2015 is back with numerous restaurants offering unbeatable lunch and dinner specials. LRA has a list of top picks for the perfect dining experiences from August 17th through August 23rd.

Guests have plenty of great lunch and dinner options to choose from on Bastille’s prix fixe menus. The $22 prix fixe lunch menu includes beignet of shrimp with harissa aioli, slow-cooked Norwegian salmon filet, oven-roasted tomato & corn risotto, and basil coulis. For your midday lunchtime dessert, indulge in “Fruits rouges a la Crème” made with local berries, vanilla bean crème brûlée, raspberry coulis, Valrhona white chocolate, raspberry sorbet, and pistachio dacquoise. For just $35 dinner guests can enjoy an arugula and strawberry salad with almonds, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette followed by Shrimp & Grits a la Basquaise with Carolina shrimp on the plancha, white polenta, grilled scallions, and Basquaise sauce. Options include: Escargots au Pistou, sautéed snails in garlicky basil pistou, baguette croutons; Le Royal Burger with cheese, pommes frites and green, and vanilla bean crème brûlée. The $35 dinner prix fixe menu includes: Paté de Campagne, country pate, mustard, cornichons, pickled onions; Confit de Canard, sauce Pruneaux, Moullard duck leg confit, Brandy-prunes sauce, garlicky potatoes & vegetables; Tarte au citron vert et bleuets, lime curd tartlet and blueberries.
