The Historic Downtown Restaurant Honors Local Craft Beer, Food and Music During DC Beer Week
The landmark Old Ebbitt Grill, located adjacent to the White House at 675 15th Street, NW, 20005, is excited to announce the annual return of the Craft BrewHaHa on Saturday, August 15th, from 8 PM to 11 PM. The BrewHaHa is a celebration of local craft beers & food backed by a killer local soul band, the Soul Crackers. Nine local craft brewers paired with nine local chefs will celebrate the growth of craft beer here in our nation’s capital to the sounds of a great band as part of the 7th annual DC Beer Week, which runs August 9-15th. Each brewery will feature two of their beers and each chef will create a dish that enhances the beer pairings. Craft beer enthusiasts will be able to mingle while sampling unlimited amounts of these creations during the large cocktail-style party held in the Atrium of the Old Ebbitt Grill.
Featured craft breweries include DC Brau from Washington, DC; Flying Dog Brewery from Frederick, MD; Evolution Craft Brewing Company from Salisbury, MD; Atlas Brew Works from Washington, DC; Hellbender Brewing Company from Washington, DC; Port City Brewing Company from Alexandria, VA; Hardywood Park Craft Brewery from Richmond, VA; Denizens Brewing Company from Silver Spring, MD, and Old Ox Brewery from Ashburn, VA.
For the perfect pairing, guests can also enjoy crowd-pleasing dishes from award-winning local chefs such as Old Ebbitt's Executive Chef Sal Ferro; Executive Chef Anthony Lombardo of The Hamilton; Executive Chef Russell Jones of Jack Rose Dining Saloon; Executive Chef Nathan Beauchamp of The Fainting Goat; Executive Chef Travis Kern of Boundary Stone; Executive Chef Jeff Eng of Tower Oaks Lodge; Executive Chef Nathan Anda of Red Apron Butcher; Executive Chef Logan McGear of Smoke and Barrel, and Executive Chef Michael Friedman of The Red Hen.
