Farm-to-Fork Restaurant, Jardenea, Unveils New Summer Menus

Farm-to-fork restaurant, Jardenea, located within the art-deco inspired boutique hotel, Melrose Georgetown Hotel, will launch its new summer food and beverage menus tomorrow, July 3, just in time for the holiday weekend.

Young executive chef, Nate Lindsay, has designed a new, seasonally inspired summer menu that highlights fresh summer produce including peaches, tomatoes, watermelon and summer squash, most of which is sourced from local and regional farms. Additionally, the restaurant has launched a new line of cooling summer cocktails that utilize the complexity of flavors only available in seasonal summer ingredients. Patrons can expect to see dishes like:

•  Crown Orchards Chilled Peach Soup with Pear Brûlée and Cinnamon Scented Cream

•  Hummingbird Farms Trio of Tomatoes with Chilled Saffron Elixir, Burrata Caprese and Stewed Watermelon Salad

•  Dutch Valley Veal Scallopini with Creamed Orzo Pasta, Braised Tuscan Kale and Preserved Lemon Caper Vin-Blanc

•  Leek Wrapped BBQ Chicken with Aged Parmesan and Stone Ground Grits, Macaroni and Arancini
