12th Annual Crafty Bastards Arts and Crafts Fair Returns to Union Market, September 26-27, 2015

Applications for Crafty and Food Vendors Now Open - Deadline to Apply Closes July 5

Washington City Paper is pleased to announce that the 12th annual Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair will return to Union Market in Northeast Washington, DC, on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2015.

The two-day outdoor exhibition will feature handmade products and wares by more than 150 artists and crafters from around the country. The fair will run daily from 10 AM to 5 PM in the parking lot in front of Union Market, located at 1309 5th Street, NE, Washington, DC.


One-day admission is $5, with a two-day pass available for $10, if purchased in advance. Children 12 years old and younger will be admitted free. Crafty Bastards tickets will be available this summer online at washingtoncitypaper.com/craftybastards. Additional information on vendors and entertainment will be released closer to the event via the Crafty Bastards mailing list and social media.

To Participate/Vend at Crafty Bastards:
The deadline for potential vendors to apply for space is quickly approaching. The selection committee is seeking “craftiness” in more than 12 different categories, including Bath & Body Care, Books/Paper Goods, Ceramics/Pottery/Glass, Clothing, Food, Fine Art, Handbags & Accessories, Jewelry, Knit or Crochet Items, Plush/Toys/Games and more. Applications must be submitted via the City Paper website before 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, July 5, 2015. There is a $20 application fee.
