From our friends at Georgetown Athletics...

Matchups for the Georgetown University men’s basketball team in the Regional Round schedule for the 21st annual 2K Classic, benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project, were announced on Monday morning.

In addition to the Hoyas, the 2K Classic field includes defending national champion Duke, national runner-up Wisconsin and VCU.

Each of these teams will host a pair of Regional Round games in addition to playing at Madison Square Garden in the Championship Rounds on November 20 and 22. The Championship Round matchups will be announced in conjunction with ESPN in August.

In the Washington Regional Round, Georgetown will host Radford on Saturday, November 14 at Verizon Center. The Hoyas will also host Bryant on Saturday, November 28.

The first semifinal in the championship round will be played at Madison Square Garden on Friday, November 20 at 5 p.m., with the second game to follow. The championship doubleheader will tip off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 22 with a consolation game, followed by the title game.

Tickets for the 2K Classic are now available to current donors to Georgetown Athletics at the $50 level and above (those who have made a gift of $50 or more on after July 1, 2014) as well as men’s basketball plan-holders (2014-15 season ticket and mini-plan holders and 2015-16 season ticket holders).

Tickets for Friday and Sunday are sold separately; tickets for each day include admission to both games of the doubleheader. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit WeAreGeorgetown.com/2KClassic or call the Georgetown Athletics Ticket Office at (202) 687-4692.
