Cathedral Sings! Vivaldi Gloria

Community Sing-Along Open to All, Sunday, January 18 at 7:30 PM

The Cathedral Choral Society will host a community sing-along of Vivaldi’s Gloria, RV 589 on Sunday, January 18 at 7:30 PM at Washington National Cathedral. Music Director J. Reilly Lewis will conduct, accompanied by Todd Fickley on the Great Organ. Tickets are $10, including score rental. Singers of all abilities are welcome.

The chorus will be joined by three guest soloists: Melissa Mino, soprano; Shantelle Przybylo, soprano; and Aleksandra Romano, mezzo. Przybylo and Romano are currently members of the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program at Washington National Opera.

“Our community sing-alongs are a fantastic opportunity to experience the joy of choral singing in Washington National Cathedral. No matter your singing background, all voices are welcome to join in this fun event,” said Executive Director Genevieve Twomey.

Cathedral Sings! is a twice annual program of the Cathedral Choral Society intended to promote lifelong singing. The second sing-along this season will be of Mozart’s Requiem, K. 626 held on Sunday, June 14.
